Meet the 2016 Lyles Construction Group Summer Interns

We are very excited to introduce a group of bright, young individuals representing colleges and universities from California, Indiana and Texas, who have accepted the challenge and opportunity to participate in the Lyles Construction Group Summer Intern Program. Our interns are here to learn, grow and make an impact. They have the ability to contribute fresh ideas to the team.Their adventure began on the evening of Wednesday, June 14, 2016, where they were treated to a welcome dinner at the Yard House Restaurant in Fresno. This provided an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other in a casual and relaxed environment. In addition to the social aspect of this event, our goal was to encourage an open dialogue amongst the group to discuss what they hoped to gain from their internship. We also encouraged them to network with one another. The evening was a great success.

The following morning our interns were welcomed by Will Lyles, IV, Senior Vice President-Construction Operations, Lyles Diversified, Inc. and Rich Nemmer, Executive Vice President and Chief of Operations, Lyles Services Co. for an Orientation. Will and Rich’s combined experience with the company exceeds 60 years. They presented an in-depth company overview of Lyles Construction Group and the opportunities that were available to them.

The day was concluded with a delightful luncheon at Plaza Ventana Mexican Restaurant. Rich Nemmer conducted a question and answer session with the Interns, providing them with an additional opportunity to learn more about the Company’s history, philosophy and culture, current and upcoming construction projects, and the art of business development in this industry.

In the next couple of months they will be working on challenging projects. We are confident that their time with our company will be successful and rewarding. Please join us in welcoming them.
