Facility Maintenance – Design/Build
Contract Amount: Varies
Completion Date: Varies

This is one of several maintenance projects that Lyles Mechanical Co. (LMC) has performed at the Kaiser Permanente Fresno Medical Center. This specific project included all work related to the design and replacement of three (3) hot water heaters on the roof of the multi-story Sequoia Building. The Sequoia Building supports various business, security and administrative departments as well as the Birthing Center. LMC installed the three new 600 gallon (each) semi-instantaneous packaged water heaters in a manner to facilitate continued operations within the building by closely coordinating and phasing the operations. Preplanning the work was of utmost importance due to extreme space limitations in the work area. Further-more, due to the proximity to the operating facility, extensive safety measures related to the rigging and hoisting of the units were put in place to protect the employees, patients and visitors of the facility while the work was occurring.
